I know that we did not get to talk about this but i wanted to say that the shadows did so much for this piece. Its as if in the shadows the birds are playing as sort of a mirror of themselves which really echoes the blue pieces on the wall and makes me think of the past. The swing really makes me think of childhood and the slip cast birds are like childhood toys. Its hard not to look at this piece and think of myself and my childhood. I don't know if that makes sense but great job!
I like the imagery and use of color used in this piece. The contrast between the white and the deep cobalt adds something almost sinister to the forms. The swing was a great way to place the birds in space. This is a piece that draws you in from accross the room.
